Rose Queen at St Alban's Church, 1957

Photograph taken in St Alban's Day School - four Page Boys carried the crown for the Rose Queen (it looks like this year there was a shortage of boys as there are two girls!), and she had six "petal scatterers" and four attendants held her train. Dresses were made by the mums in the congregation.

You would be chosen to become Rose Queen by attendance at Sunday School for the year.
