This picture could be a Whit Friday Procession or a Church Anniversary Parade from 1956. It shows the Sunday School and St Martin's Castleton Church Lads Brigade Band, walking past St Alban's Junior School on Latin Street. The vicar at the time was Rev. Charles Oldham.
